UFC on FOX 10 took place tonight at United Center in Chicago, Ill., and the event turned out to be a lot of fun from an entertainment standpoint, as well as profitable from a betting standpoint if you were counting on the favorites to win — but not if you bet the dog in the main event. It was a competitive fight but Thomson deserved to win and this is already one of the most controversial decisions in a long time. Henderson luckily cashed as a -310 fav (bet $310 to win $100), while Thomson sadly lost as a +280 dog (bet $100 to win $280). In a heavyweight bout, Stipe Miocic outpointed Gabriel Gonzaga en route to a unanimous decision win. Miocic used his superior kickboxing skills to pick apart Gonzaga and win a decision as a -290 fav, while Gonzaga lost as a +260 dog. In a lightweight bout, Donald Cerrone took out Adriano Martins via first-round KO (head kick). Cerrone looked awesome in picking up a huge KO win as a -170 fav, while Martins lost as a +160 dog. In a featherweight bout, Jeremy Stephens defeated Darren Elkins via unanimous decision. Stephens outstruck Elkins over three rounds to cash as a -115 fav, while Elkins lost as a +105 dog. In a bantamweight bout, Eddie Wineland defeated Yves Jabouin via second-round TKO (punches). Wineland beasted it up with a brutal TKO win as a -475 fav, while Jabouin lost as a +420 dog. In a bantamweight bout, Hugo Viana defeated Ramiro Hernandez via unanimous decision. Viana won with his brutal punches to cash as a -320 fav, but Hernandez was tough enough to survive until the end of three rounds to lose as a +290 dog. In a bantamweight bout, Chico Camus took a unanimous decision over Yaotzin Meza. Camus gained top position and won as a -185 fav, while Meza lost as a +170 dog. In a lightweight bout, Daron Cruickshank defeated Mike Rio via second-round TKO (spinning wheel kick and punches). Cruickshank looked absolutely lethal in dispatching Rio to win as a -240 fav, while Rio lost as a +220 dog. UFC On FOX 10 Betting Underdogs That Won In a bantamweight bout, Alex Caceres defeated Sergio Pettis via third-round submission (rear-naked choke) in an epic fight. After a close first two rounds, Caceres looked awesome in the third round as he was able to get an opening and take advantage for the victory in what was a close fight. Caceres cashed as a +175 dog, while Pettis lost as a -190 fav. In a welterweight bout, George Sullivan defeated Mike Rhodes via unanimous decision. Sullivan deserved the close nod over Rhodes and cashed out as a +255 dog, while Rhodes lost as a -280 fav. In a heavyweight bout, Nikita Krylov defeated Walt Harris via first-round TKO (head kick and punches). Krylov came out with a bullrush early in round one and was able to quickly knock out Harris in one of the most shocking victories so far in 2014. Krylov won as a +355 dog, while Harris lost as a giant -400 fav.
