MMA Oddsbreaker’s Frank Trigg speaks with UFC on Fox 10 bantamweight Sergio Pettis as he prepares for his main event bout this Saturday night (Jan. 25, 2013) against Alex Caceres at the United Center in Chicago, Illinois.
The talented Roufusport product won a close decision in his UFC debut, but now that the jitters are out of the way, he feels like he can finally be himself in the Octagon this time around:
“This is definitely a lot more comfortable for me. I feel like I’m gonna expose this guy and be who I am in there… Honestly, I think he’s gonna try to stand with me for a little bit but he saw my last fight. He’s gonna try to take me down, hold me down and get a decision. I don’t see him knocking me out or submitting me, but he’s gonna try to grind me out. I’ll just play my long game and try to expose him. He’s the longer guy, but I feel like I can use my body, use my kicks a lot better than he can.”
