UFC on FUEL TV 4: Wednesday, July 11, 2012 HP Pavilion in San Jose, California UFC Bantamweight Contender T.J. Dillashaw (-435) Profile: A former NCAA Division I wrestler and current Team Alpha Male member, T.J. Dillashaw (5-1) has gone 1-1 in the UFC after a fairly successful run through The Ultimate Fighter 14 house, eventually losing to John Dodson in the bantamweight finale. Although he was the runner-up, Dillashaw has moved forward and collected his first UFC win over Walel Watson at UFC on Fuel TV: Sanchez vs. Ellenberger with a dominant decision. The 26-year-old California native still has ample time to develop, but MMA bettors can expect him to stick to his bread and butter of wrestling in his upcoming bout at UFC on FUEL TV: Munoz vs. Weidman. UFC Bantamweight Contender Vaughan Lee (+285) Profile: Vaughan Lee (12-7-1) had a rough start to his career, going 0-3 before finally breaking the .500 mark six years later. Since 2009, the 29-year-old Brit has been on a tear through the UK bantamweight division, going 5-1-1, including a 1-1 UFC record. He lost his first UFC fight by a close split-decision at the hands of Chris Cariaso but quickly rebounded with an impressive armbar submission win over Kid Yamamoto in the Saitama Super Arena at UFC 144 less than three months later. Opening UFC on FUEL TV Odds Analysis: MMA oddsmaker Nick Kalikas made Dillashaw a huge -435 favorite (bet $435 to win $100) while Lee opened as a +285 underdog (bet $100 to win $285) according to the MMA odds. Dillashaw is viewed by many MMA bettors as one of the up-and-coming fighters in the UFC. He nearly won TUF 14 and seems to be on a mission to prove his loss to Dodson in the finale was a fluke. Lee may be a little more experienced fighter, but he has not fought the same level of competition and looks to be overmatched against a younger, hungrier opponent who needs to keep winning to climb the ranks into the top of the bantamweight division.
