MMA Oddsbreaker’s Frank Trigg speaks with UFC 167 welterweight Jason High as he prepares for his preliminary card bout tonight (Nov. 16, 2013) against Anthony Lapsley at the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas, Nevada.
“The Kansas City Bandit” is looking to even out his overall 1-2 UFC record, and he feels the outcome of his fight will be decided on the canvas, win or lose for both fighters.
“I really think that I’m better than him everywhere. My record’s better than his. All that stuff doesn’t really matter when you get in there but if I were looking at the fight objectively, I have more quality opponents than him, more quality wins. Just based on skill, as far as grappling, I’m stronger in his strongest area, at least from the outside.”
