Bellator 107 is in the books, and not one, not two but three future title challengers were crowned in the bantamweight, middleweight and heavyweight divisions. Overall, four betting favorites hit while one underdog scored in a pretty entertaining night of fights. Here’s a betting recap for Bellator 107 based on the closing results at Several Bookmakers: Bellator 107 Underdog That Won In the first tournament bout of the evening, Brennan Ward came through as the only betting underdog to bring home the bacon with a surprising comeback performance against Mikkel Parlo. Ward closed as a +150 underdog while Parlo was a -160 favorite. Parlo grinded Ward against the fence, also outstriking him in the opening round but Brennan came back in a big way in the second round, clipping Parlo standing and then unloading on him with heavy body shots as well as big hooks along the fence to score a standing TKO victory. Bellator 107 Favorites That Won In the main event of the evening, Cheick Kongo dominated kickboxing veteran Peter Graham in both the stand-up portion, in the clinch and on the ground to score a one-sided unanimous decision victory and earn a right to fight for the heavyweight title. Kongo closed as a -135 favorite while Graham closed at +125. In the bantamweight tournament final, former featherweight champion Joe Warren destroyed Travis Marx with a beautiful knee to the face to score a second round TKO and come through as -135 favorite. Marx lost as a +125 underdog. In a 157 pound catchweight fight, Derek Campos earned his second straight Bellator victory by beating up UK fighter Martin Stapleton, outworking him both on the feet and with multiple takedowns. Campos closed at -192 while Stapleton ended up at +177. Last but not least, on the preliminary card, Patricky “Pitbull” Freire scored his first victory inside the Bellator cage in four tries, soundly defeating Edson Berto via unanimous decision and proving the oddsmakers correct. Freire closed as a hefty -440 favorite while Berto finished at +390.
