More often than not, this is the fight that takes the cake, but personally, I don’t see enough value in the line to make a play. That said, I would not be the least bit surprised if Guillard and Pearson take home the prize, as they each own two Fight of the Night awards. Iaquinta/Hallmann +700 — These are two very talented and equally exciting lightweights in the UFC, and a win here, either fighter will be catupulted into a likely main card spot against a top tier opponent in their next outing. They are both game fighters who are full of heart and have no quit in them. They will give it their all in order to get their hand raised. I have no doubt that these two warriors will produce an exciting fight, and at +700, I think it’s worth a shot. Dana White personally likes both fighters, so should this fight produce fireworks, I think this prop will have a decent chance of cashing. Barnatt/Craig +1000 — This is another scrap between a couple of real warriors. Both these guys are full of heart and will leave it all in the cage. They both bring it every time. More often than not, this will be a very fun fight to watch, and at +1000, I will certainly bite! Tuck/Parke +800 — This is my personal favorite to win the award. I think both fighters will be looking to make a statement and I think this fight will surely produce fireworks. Parke, while on a successful run, feels he should be finishing fights and is disappointed that his most recent bouts have gone to decision. Tuck, although successful in his promotional debut, was extremely disappointed in his performance, and looks to make an impression in his second appearance in the Octagon. These are talented, well-rounded mixed martial artists who are full of heart and will give it all they’ve got. I expect this to be a real war, and at +800, I love it for a bet. Jimmo/Manuwa +800 — It’s hard for Manuwa be in a fight and have it not be exciting. Only way that will happen is if his opponent tries to grapple the entire time, which is what could happen here. That said, at +800, it is certainly worth a look, as there’s a decent chance this could be a back and forth fight that produces fireworks all the way to the judges’ scorecards for a split decision.
