The brazen brawler isn’t expecting a technical masterpiece against opponent Fabio Maldonado, a durable slugger who loves to brawl:
“It’s gonna be a straightforward fight, anyways. It’s gonna be like, ‘if we met in a dark alley, who’s gonna walk out?’ basically. There’s not gonna be much, I don’t think there’s gonna be a jiu-jitsu trade-off like in the main event or it’ll be super technical. It’ll come down to who wants it more and who’s in better shape. I’ve been in fighting shape for 10 months. It’s a cliche, ‘this is the best I’ve ever felt,’ but it’s true…I think this is gonna be the best I’ve ever performed”
