Current odds have the defending champion as a steep (-500) favorite. In my opinion that is just too high of a price to invest in with a fight that should 9/10 times take place on the feet.
Pereira is a gifted striker with pinpoint accuracy which has seen him dispose of all of his opponents with fight changing power. He has pretty much seen everything in the striking department so he is able to adjust easily and time counters effortlessly.
While I feel pretty certain Pereira successfully defends his title here I cannot get behind betting his moneyline or even a TKO prop as that is heavily juiced, too. Rountree is not exactly a sheep being led to the slaughter here. He carries big power behind his hands and I think he can catch Pereira if some wild exchange happens or if the champion just does not see a particular shot coming back his way.
I expect Pereira to take center of the octagon and control the distance of the fight as he walks Rountree back against the cage. While I will take small shots on a Rountree TKO in R1 and R2 props, I highly advise not to break the bank on them. They are small dart throws for a reason as I find the value in the prices of both props to be worth a chance.
