Here are my quick thoughts on the UFC Vegas 94 Opening Odds:
- The main event of UFC Vegas 94 features Amanda Lemos against Virna Jandiroba at women’s strawweight. Lemos beat Mackenzie Dern in her last fight to bounce back after a tough loss to Weili Zhang for the title. As for Jandiroba, she is coming off three straight wins and has been looking great as of late. You have to lean toward Jandiroba to win this fight just based on the fact she has been so hot as of late, but Lemos has the power to turn the fight around with one punch, so it will be interesting to see how this fight plays out.
- The co-main event features Brad Tavares taking on JunYong Park at middleweight. Tavares is the long-time gatekeeper at 185 lbs and he is coming off a brutal knockout loss to Gregory Rodrigues in his last fight. He has lost three of his last four fights overall coming into this one. As for Park, he lost a split decision to Andre Muniz in his last fight which snapped a four-fight winning streak. You have to lean toward Park to win this fight based on momentum, but Tavares has the style to make this a competitive back-and-forth fight.
