- The main event of Cage Warriors 168 is a CWFC light heavyweight title bout between Andy Clamp and Matthew Byfield. Clamp is 1-1 in Cage Warriors and he finished his last fight to get this title shot. As for Byfield, he is 3-0, 1 NC in CWFC, having won his last three fights in a row to get this title shot. Clamp has more experience overall, which is likely why he opened as the favorite here, but the odds are close and Byfield certainly has a chance to pull off the upset.
- Also on the card is a CWFC bantamweight title bout between Liam Gittins and Roberto Hernandez. Gittins has fought for most of his career in Cage Warriors, and he is currently riding a five-fight win streak in the promotion. He is also the defending champion in this bout, having won his last fight by decision to claim the belt against Reece McEwan.
