Here are my quick thoughts on the UFC Vegas 70 Opening Odds:
- The main event of UFC Vegas 70 is a light heavyweight bout between Nikita Krylov and Ryan Spann. Krylov is coming off back-to-back wins over Alexander Gustafsson and Volkan Oezdemir, and he has looked outstanding in recent years. Spann is also in good form as of late, having beaten Ion Cutelaba and Dominick Reyes by stoppage in his last two bouts. Overall, it’s difficult to see this fight going the distance given how much finishing ability both fighters have. Krylov is the lean, but you can’t completely count Spann out of getting the win.
- Also on the card is a middleweight bout between Andre Muniz and Brendan Allen. Muniz has looked amazing in the UFC with five straight wins, while Allen has also been outstanding at 8-2. These two fighters match up really well against each other and this should be an excellent match for as long as it lasts. Given both men are capable grapplers, you’ll probably really enjoy this one. The oddsmakers opened the betting line up for this fight as a Pick ’em, but the early action has come in on Muniz to pick up the win.
