LFA 89 takes place at the Sanford Pentagon in Sioux Falls, South Dakota tonight (Friday, Aug. 28, 2020) at 9 p.m. ET live on UFC Fight Pass. Lightweights Brant Moore and Joe Gianetti are slated to duke it out in the main event.
Moore (7-1) has gone 3-0 under the LFA banner. He is currently riding a five-fight winning streak, most recently defeating Nation Gibrick via first round submission at LFA 78 in November of 2019. Gianetti (9-2-1) is making his LFA debut. He is a veteran of The Ultimate Fighter season 27 and most recently defeated Roberto Yong via first round submission at Cage Titans 47 in January.
The co-main event features a pair of welterweights as Demarques Jackson takes on Adrian Hadribeaj.
Jackson (10-4) is 2-2 with the LFA promotion. He has lost two consecutive fights, most recently dropping a split decision to Hugh Pulley at LFA 71 in July of 2019. Hadribeaj (10-1) is making his promotional debut and is riding five-fight winning streak. He most recently defeated Sinatra Pool via unanimous decision at Total Warrior Combat in November of 2019.
