LFA 82 takes place at the Mystic Lake Casino Hotel Prior Lake, Minnesota tonight (Friday, February 21, 2020) at 9 p.m. ET live on UFC Fight Pass. Light heavyweights Alex Polizzi and Jamal Pogues are slated to duke it out in the main event.
Polizzi (5-0) is undefeated with a 1-0 record under the LFA banner. He most recently defeated UFC veteran Daniel Jolly via first round TKO at Final Fight Championships 40 in September. Pogues (7-2) is making his LFA debut. He is currently riding a three-fight win streak and most recently defeated Marcos Brigagao via unanimous decision on Dana White’s Tuesday Night Contender Series in August.
The co-main event features a pair of featherweights as Nate Togbah takes on Jake Childers.
Togbah (7-1) is undefeated in LFA with a 1-0 record in the promotion. After an unsuccessful foray into kickboxing, he most recently extended his MMA winning streak to five when he defeated Matt Jones via third round TKO at LFA 77 in September. Childers (7-0) also is undefeated in LFA, going 2-0 in the promotion thus far. Most recently he defeated Jamey Simmons via first round knockout in just 13 seconds at LFA 70 in June.
