ACB 78 takes place in Grozny, Chechnya, on Saturday (Jan. 13, 2017) at 11a.m. (ET) live on FITE TV. In the main event, Brazilian powerhouse Rander Junior battles Fight Club Berkut standout Yusup Umarov.
Junior (11-2) heads into this matchup having won four of his last five fights including a first-round submission victory over Jeremias Henrique at The Warriors Combat 4 in May 2017. The 32-year-old will be making his promotional debut. Umarov (9-4) looks to get back on the winning track having lost two of his last three fights. The 27-year-old is coming off a second-round submission setback against Sergej Grecicho at ACB 69 in September. Umarov has never lost back-to-back fights in his 13-fight career.
In the co-main event UFC veteran Pat Healy looks for his first two-fight win streak since July 2015 when he faces Gronzy native Magomed Raisov. Healy snapped at two-fight skid in his last bout earning a split decision nod over Brendan Loughnane at ACB 65 in July. The 34-year-old is 2-3 in his last five fights.
