Five Props is a column featured on MMAOddsbreaker.com after every major MMA event that highlights the biggest underdog prop bets to cash out from that card. Here are five UFC Fight Night 120 prop bets that cashed big based on the closing odds at Several Bookmakers.
1) Karl Roberson by Submission (+1067)
Roberson made short work of Darren Stewart in his Octagon debut, showing off his grappling skills by securing a reversal on Stewart and ultimately submitting him with a rear naked choke. It was a highly impressive promotional debut for the Glory veteran, who remains undefeated as a professional mixed martial artist and allows those who wagered on him to do so to break out with a massive +1067 winning ticket. Congratulations to you if you were on that one!
2) Clay Guida by T/KO (+990)
Guida scored arguably the most impressive victory of his UFC career by dropping and ultimately securing a TKO stoppage over fellow veteran Joe Lauzon in the opening moments of the very first round of action. “The Carpenter” now enjoys a two-fight winning streak in his return to 155-pounds and fight fans look forward to seeing his next Octagon outing. Congrats are due to those who backed Guida to put Lauzon away with strikes, as the prop paid out huge at +990!
3) Andrei Arlovski by Decision (+680)
Arlovski snapped a five-fight losing streak by defeating previously undefeated Brazilian Junior “Baby” Albini via unanimous decision on the judges’ scorecards following three back and forth rounds of action. Big congratulations are due here to those of you who wagered on the veteran to win this fight on the judges’ scorecards, as the prop paid out handsomely at +680!
4) Raphael Assuncao by T/KO (+535)
Assuncao earned a third round knockout of a very game Matthew Lopez to make it three straight wins for himself inside the Octagon, following a pair of controversial split decision calls over Marlon Moraes and Aljamain Sterling. This was the Brazilian’s first finish in half a decade, so congratulations are due to those who wagered on him to end the fight with strikes, as the prop paid out nicely at +535.
5) Jake Collier by Decision (+475)
Collier bounced back into the win column with a unanimous decision victory over Brazil’s Marcel Fortuna, and the Missouri native hopes to make some noise in the UFC’s 205-pound division in the coming year. Congrats to those of you who backed this underdog to take home a decision victory, as it means you cashed out at a sweet +475!
A $100 parlay on these five props would have netted $3,622,609.
