Following his TKO loss to Alex White on Saturday at UFC 215, Canadian lightweight Mitch Clarke announced his retirement.
Clarke (11-5) was signed to the UFC in 2011 following a career that started off 9-0. The 31-year-old went 2-5 in the octagon, and suffered his third straight loss on Saturday. His most memorable win coming against Al Iaquinta at UFC 173 where he submitted the American in the third-round. The Saskatchewan native, who now calls Edmonton home, fought the likes of Iaquinta, Mike Chiesa and Joseph Duffy in his UFC career.
