1) Rob Font by Submission (+800)
Font outstruck Douglas Silva de Andrade — and nearly finished him with strikes — before putting him out with a guillotine choke submission for the tapout victory. Font now has a two-fight winning streak inside the Octagon, and those who wagered on him to win this fight by submission made out with a whopping +800. 2) Robert Whittaker by Decision (+500)
Whittaker came back from a two-round deficit and a knee injury to take the next three rounds on all three judges’ scorecards and earn a unanimous-decision victory, becoming the UFC’s interim middleweight champion. He will now wait to face Michael Bisping, who wears the promotion’s 185-pound title belt. It was a solid outing by Whittaker, who showed great heart throughout the contest. Congrats are due to those who backed him to win this fight on the judges’ scorecards, as that prop paid out at a sweet +500.
3) Alexei Oliynyk by Submission (+375)
Oliynyk was dropped, hurt and nearly finished by Travis Browne early in the first round of action. But he recovered and went on to nearly finish Browne in that very round. In what could have potentially been a 10-8 round for Browne, the Ukrainian found a way to turn the tides and managed to somehow end up winning the round. One miraculous performance after another for this guy, who was coming off an Ezekiel choke victory over Viktor Pesta in his previous outing. He continued to pour it on Browne in the second round, in which Browne also had his moments. Oliynyk was ultimately too much for “Hapa” when the fit hit the mat, as it was only a matter of time for him to secure a rear-naked choke to earn the tap and finish. Kudos to those who backed him to win this fight by submission, as you cashed out at a solid +375.
4) Alistair Overeem by Decision (+270)
Overeem edged Werdum in the first round, clearly got him in the second and overcame being dominated in the third to earn a majority decision. All three judges scored the first two rounds for “The Reem.” If you were playing on him to win this fight on the scorecards, then congrats to you, as you took home a cool +270.
5) Belal Muhammad by Decision (+181)
Muhammad outstruck and outgrappled Jordan Mein for three rounds of action to pick up a unanimous-decision victory on the judges’ scorecards for his second consecutive win inside the Octagon. Congrats are in order to those who wagered on “Remember the Name” to win this fight by decision, as it paid out at a decent +181.
A $100 parlay on these five props would have netted $266,583
