MMAOddsBreaker.com‘s Fight of the Month for June 2017 goes to UFC featherweights Max Holloway and Jose Aldo at UFC 212 on June 3rd.
The Brazilian Aldo came out strong and took a one-sided first round over the Hawaiian Holloway. It was more of the same in the second stanza until fatigue began to set in towards the end of the round. That’s when Holloway put the pedal to the metal and turned the heat on Aldo. It was all Holloway in the third round, as he outstruck Aldo in volume until dropping him, which led to a brutal ground-and-pound attack that ultimately earned him a TKO stoppage victory and the title of UFC featherweight champion. It was an entertaining battle between the two elite 145-pounders, and fight fans are looking forward to seeing these two back in action later this year. Congratulations for the war, Max Holloway and Jose Aldo!
