In a month filled with incredible rear-naked choke victories, the one that takes the cake is Claudia Gadelha’s first-round win over Poland’s Karolina Kowalkiewicz. Many expected the bout to be more closely contested and go the distance, but Gadelha was able to make quick of Kowalkiewicz, putting herself maybe one more win away from earning another shot at the UFC’s women’s strawweight title. This was the most impressive performance and victory of the Brazilian’s Octagon career. Congratulations, Claudia Gadelha!
