UFC Fight Night 111 took place Saturday (June 17, 2017) from Singapore. The card was headlined by a UFC women’s bantamweight bout between former champion Holly Holm and Bethe Correia. Colby Covington out-wrestled Dong Hyun Kim to win an easy decision on the scorecards. Covington closed as a -240 favorite with Kim a +200 dog.
Rafael dos Anjos pressed the action and controlled the striking to win a unanimous decision over Tarec Saffiedine. Dos Anjos closed as a -200 favorite with Saffiedine a +170 dog.
Jon Tuck made quick work of Takanori Gomi, earning a first-round submission after hurting his opponent on the feet with shots to the body. Tuck closed as a -360 favorite with Gomi at +325.
Walt Harris crushed Cyril Asker with ground-and-pound to earn a first-round stoppage. Harris closed as a -330 favorite with Asker +300.
Alex Caceres put in a well-rounded performance to add another victory to his resume over newcomer Rolando Dy. Caceres closed at -320 favorite with Dy at +260.
Li Jingliang dropped the opening round but turned it on during rounds two and three to win a unanimous decision over Frank Camacho. Jingliang closed as a -550 favorite with Camacho +425.
Naokie Inoue dominated the grappling exchanges in all three rounds to win a dominant decision over fellow debutant Carls Johns de Tomas. Inoue closed -275 with Tomas +235.
Lucie Pudilova controlled the cage in round three to earn a unanimous-decision win over Ji Yeon Kim. Pudilova closed as a slight -120 favorite with Kim a +100 underdog.
Underdogs that Won Ulka Sasasi stunned Justin Scoggins by securing a submission in a big come-from-behind victory in the second round. Sasaki closed as a whopping +415 underdog while Scoggins disappointed many as a -525 favorite.
Russell Doane backed up Kwan Ho Kwak and delivered powerful punches against the cage to put his opponent away towards the end of the first round to earn a big victory at UFC Fight Night 111. Doane closed as a small +100 underdog with Kwak the -120 favorite.
