Valerie Letourneau vs. Emily Ducote set for Bellator 181
Valerie Letourneau announced on The MMA Hour Monday that she will be facing Emily Ducote in her promotional debut at Bellator 181 on July 14th. Letourneau (8-6) is a former UFC title challenger and heads into her Bellator debut on three-fight skid. The 34-year-old American Top Team product is looking for her first win since 2015 and will be competing in the flyweight division for the second time since 2014.
Ducote (5-2) is coming off a submission win over RFA vet Katy Collins at Bellator 174 in March, which pushed her Bellator record to 3-1. The 23-year-old’s lone loss in Bellator was to Ilima-Lei Macfarlane last December at Bellator 167.
