Paul Daley vs. Rory MacDonald headlines Bellator 179 in London Bellator officially announced on Thursday that former UFC welterweight title challenger Rory MacDonald will make his promotional debut against Paul “Semtex” Daley on May 19th. MacDonald (18-4) heads into this matchup off back-to-back losses to Robbie Lawler and Stephen Thompson. The 27-year old will be looking for his first win since October 2014. Daley (39-14-2) is coming off a highlight reel flying knee knockout over Brennan Ward and has only lost once (a unanimous decision setback to Douglas Lima at Bellator 158) since 2013.
