Gunnar Nelson vs. Alan Jouban set as co-main event of UFC Fight Night London UFC officials announced Monday that welterweight Gunnar Nelson will take on Alan Jouban in the co-main event of UFC London on March 18th. Nelson (15-2-1) bounced back from his first loss in the octagon – to Demian Maia at UFC 194 – by submitting Albert Tumenov at UFC Fight Night 87. Nelson, who is a main training partner of UFC multi-division champion Conor McGregor, has only fought three times since 2015. Jouban (15-4) heads into this matchup on a three-fight win streak, including victories over Brendan O’Reilly, Belal Muhammad and most recently Mike Perry at UFC on FOX 22.
