Aside from one temporary lull in the matchup, this fight was pure fireworks, as both 170-pounders connected and hurt each other a number of times following the opening bell, with Nash also nearly finishing the bout with a submission on the mat. Nash and Jingliang both had their moments in this contest. But it was Jingliang’s superior chin that ultimately made the difference, as he was able to outlast Nash and find the counter that put his opponent out of commission and forced the referee to intervene and halt the contest.
