Kyle Bochniak vs. Godofredo Pepey set for UFC Fight Night 106 in Brazil UFC officials announced recently that featherweights Kyle Bochniak and Godofredo Pepey will clash in Brazil at UFC Fight Night 106. Bochniak (7-1) is coming off a controversial split-decision win over Enrique Barzola at UFC on FOX 21 in Vancouver, which was his first win in the Las Vegas based promotion. Prior to that, the 29-year old lost his UFC debut – on short notice – to Charles Rosa at UFC Fight Night 81. Pepey (13-4) is coming off a first round submission victory over Mike De La Torre at UFC Fight Night 95 which snapped a three-fight skid. Tavares (20-7-1) went 10-7-1 in the octagon and had notable fights against Clay Guida, Manny Gamburyan, Brian Ortega and Khabib Nurmagomedov. The 32-year old instead has signed a multi-fight deal with Brazilian promotion Aspera FC. Tavares will get back in action on Feb. 18 in a featherweight contest against Mauricio Machado (17-10).
