Rashad Evans vs. Dan Kelly set for UFC 209 Rashad Evans hopes to finally make his return to the cage at UFC 209 as he faces Dan Kelly. The matchup was first reported by ESPN.com. Evans (19-5-1) was slated to fight Tim Kennedy at UFC 205, but an issue on his pre-fight medical exam caused the New York State Athletic Commission not to license him. The matchup was later rebooked for UFC 206, but the Ontario Athletic Commission also denied the former UFC light heavyweight champion. The 37-year old Evans is coming off a first-round knockout loss to Glover Teixeira at UFC on FOX 19 last year and will be making his middleweight debut. Kelly (12-1) is currently riding a three-fight win streak, including a unanimous-decision victory over Chris Camozzi at UFC Fight Night 101 back in November. UFC 209 takes place at the T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas on March 4th.
