Daniel Cormier vs. Anthony Johnson rematch set for UFC 210 Daniel Cormier announced on ‘UFC Tonight’ on Wednesday that he will be defending his light heavyweight title against Anthony ‘Rumble’ Johnson at UFC 210 on April 8th. Cormier (18-1) was slated to fight ‘Rumble’ in a rematch at UFC 206 in December, however the AKA product had to pull out of the matchup due to injury. The 37-year old last fought Anderson Silva at UFC 200 in July and earned a unanimous decision. Johnson (22-5) heads into this matchup off a first round knockout victory over Glover Teixeira at UFC 202 in August, which improved his winning streak to three-straight. UFC 210 takes place April 8th at the KeyBank Center in Buffalo, NY. The only other fight announced is a middleweight matchup between Chris Weidman vs. Gegard Mousasi. UFC lightweight Felipe Olivieri suspended two years following USADA ruling USADA announced Wednesday that UFC lightweight Felipe Olivieri has been suspended two years for an anti-doping violation. Olivieri (14-4) went to arbitration with USADA and it didn’t end up helping in the end, as he “failed to provide an acceptable explanation” for his positive test. The 30-year old tested positive from a out-of-competition drug test on Jan. 11, 2016 and was caught for methyltestosterone metabolites. The result is a two-year maximum suspension, retroactive to March 10, 2016, meaning he can return to competition in March 2018.
