MMAOddsBreaker’s Frank Trigg speaks with Bellator 170 featherweight Georgi Karakhanyan as he prepares for his upcoming main card bout tomorrow night (Saturday, January 21, 2017) against Emmanuel Sanchez at The Forum in Inglewood, California.
“Sanchez comes to fight. The kid has a lot of heart. I compare him to a lot of Mexican boxers who keep their hands up and keep coming forward. That’s the same as me, I like to come forward and it’s gonna make a good fight. I’ve faced high caliber wrestlers like Lance Palmer and Bubba Jenkins and you look at your past experience. This guy has heart, but you can’t just have heart. You have to be smart. I’m gonna throw him off a lot. I have good submission skills and I know he fought Weichel and Curran but I feel they’re very defensive counter-fighters. They’re very safe fighters but I’m a person who takes a lot of chances. It’s gonna make an exciting fight.”
