480 Lando Vannata vs. David Teymur set for UFC 209 Lando Vannata has been added to the UFC 209 on March 4th against David Teymur according to UFC officials. Vannata (9-1) is coming off a knockout of the year performance against John Makdessi where he landed a spinning wheel kick finish against the Canadian at UFC 206 earlier this month. It was the first win for Vannata in the UFC, he suffered a loss to Tony Ferguson in his promotional debut earlier this year. Teymur (5-1) has earned two straight TKO/KO wins in the UFC after a short run on TUF 23 including a stoppage victory over Jason Novelli in August. UFC 209 takes place March 4th in Las Vegas, NV.   Phillipe Nover vs. Rick Glenn slated for UFC 208 Brooklyn’s Phillipe Nover will have a chance to fight in his hometown as he’s taking on Rick Glenn at UFC 208, UFC officials announced Tuesday. Nover (10-7-1) heads into this matchup off back-to-back decision losses against Renan Barao and Zubaira Tukhugov.  Glenn (18-4-1) came up short in his UFC debut, suffering a decision loss to Evan Dunham and having his three-fight win streak snapped. UFC 208 is set to take place at the Barclays Center on Feb. 11.   Report: Mike Goldberg’s final event as a UFC commentator will be Friday at UFC 207 MMAFighting.com’s  Luke Thomas confirmed Wednesday that longtime commentator Mike Goldberg will leave the company following his final broadcast at UFC 207. Goldberg’s has been a commentator with the UFC for the last 20 years. His first broadcast was way back at UFC Japan in December 1997 and he started working with  Joe Rogan in November 2002 at UFC 40. No word yet on who will replace Goldberg in the broadcast booth.
