Bellator was back in action earlier today (Friday, December 16, 2016) for its 169th event taking place in Dublin, Ireland. The event featured a headlining bout with a heavyweight fight between “King Mo” Lawal and Satoshi Ishii. Overall on the night, four betting favorites were victorious while zero underdogs picked up wins based on Several Bookmakers‘s closing odds. Bellator 169 Favorites That Won In the main event of the evening, Muhammed “King Mo” Lawal put on a snoozefest against Japanese judoka Satoshi Ishii in a heavyweight fight. There wasn’t much action and Lawal even apologized to the media and fans afterwards for his performance in a unanimous decision-winning effort. Lawal was victorious as a -675 (Bet $675 to win $100) favorite while Ishii lost as a +425 (Bet $100 to win $425) underdog. In a featherweight affair, James Galagher took his time, but it paid off as he found a finish against Anthony Taylor. Galagher was in control for the majority of the bout, eventually finding a rear naked choke submission in the third and final round. Galagher was victorious as a -690 favorite while Taylor lost at +430. In a women’s bantamweight attraction, Sinead Kavanagh absolutely blistered an overmatched Elina Kallionidou, nearly finishing the bout in the first round and instead going on to earn a very one-sided unanimous decision victory. Kavanagh came through as a -270 favorite while Kallionidou was +190. In the opening bout of the main card at featherweight, Daniel Weichel made quick work of late injury replacement Brian Moore. Weichel took the bout to the floor and latched on an arm triangle choke to force a first round tapout. Weichel was a -650 favorite while Moore was a +420 dog. Bellator 169 Underdogs that Won None
