Back in January 2010, George Roop made an ill-fated cut down to the Bantamweight division where he was defeated by the man who is now the top contender at 135, Eddie Wineland. After moving back up to Featherweight for three years, Roop decided to make the cut once again at UFC 158 this March and found much more success. Coming off of his win over Reuben Duran, he now steps in to face one of the most talented (and injury-plagued) fighters in the division, Brian Bowles.
