MMAOddsBreaker’s Frank Trigg speaks with Titan FC’s COO Lex McMahon in advance of Titan FC 42 this Friday (December 2, 2016) at Watsco Center Field House in Coral Gables, Florida.
McMahon talks about the upcoming fight card, including a phone call with Jose “Shorty” Torres:
“Shorty and I spoke quite a bit about the next opportunity. He said, ‘Listen, I think I should be in the UFC, but I’ve got to face stiffer and tougher challenges to get there. So let’s do Pedro Nobre, he’s on the roster.’ I was like, ‘Shorty, that’s a big step, you sure?’ He said, ‘Absolutely.’ I respect him a lot because he believes that the challenger should take on the toughest competition that’s in the division. That’s really refreshing to see, he’s a very mature young man, he’s very talented and probably more experienced than Pedro in some respects. That’s my favorite fight of the night. “
