ONE FC returns tomorrow (November 11, 2016) to Singapore for a Friday card available to North American audiences at 7:00am ET, and you can bet many people will tune in before they head off to work. The reason? One of the best submission artists in the world, Shinya Aoki, will be in action as he defends his One Championship lightweight title. Aoki (39-6) is currently riding a 10-fight winning streak, having tapped out his opponent in seven of those bouts. He’ll be squaring off against Eduard Folayang, a ONE FC favorite who has competed with the promotion since it’s inaugural event back in 2011. Folayang has won four of his last five fights to earn a crack at the belt. Also on tap will be a featherweight title rematch between undefeated Russian champion Marat Gafurov (14-0) and Mongolian former champ Narantungalag Jadamba (12-4). Gafurov previously defeated Jadamba via fourth round submission a year ago to initially claim the belt and he’s held onto it since.
