The 13-fight card is set to kick off on UFC Fight pass at 6:30 p.m. (ET) with preliminary action, which will continue on FOX Sports 1 at 8 p.m. and culminate into the main card on the same channel at 10 p.m. If interested in wagering on these plays, or any plays for this fight card, all betting lines will be made available at Several Bookmakers. Here is my parlay: Women’s Strawweight bout: Alexa Grasso (-470) vs. Heather Jo Clark (+375) Gabe’s Thoughts: Undefeated women’s 115-pound prospect Grasso is set to make her long-awaited UFC debut in this contest in front of her fellow Mexican fans. The Mexican fighter has a stiff test ahead of her in the form of Clark, but I think it is one she has a good chance of passing. I think she will have the edge in cardio heading into this contest, as well as an edge on the feet. A finish on the mat would not surprise me, but I think she outpoints Clark on the feet for a unanimous-decision victory in this contest. For that reason, I favor the total Over 2.5 rounds at -260 than I do taking Grasso straight up on the moneyline at -470. I think there’s more value on the Over, especially considering the fact that I think Clark could realistically walk away with the decision here, ultimately upsetting the major home favorite. Gabe’s Call: Grasso by Unanimous Decision (30-27, 29-28, 30-27) Featherweight bout: Chris Avila (+400) vs. Enrique Barzola (-500) Gabe’s Thoughts: Avila dropped a unanimous decision to Artem Lobov in his promotional debut at UFC 202 a couple months back and looks to get back in the win column in this quick turn around in Mexico against the Mexican Barzola. The TUF: Latin America winner is coming off a controversial split-decision loss to Kyle Bochniak and aims to get back on track with an impressive victor in this contest in front of his fellow Mexican fans. Barzola displayed solid wrestling in his UFC debut and improved striking in the Bochniak bout, arguably outstriking a boxer in Bochniak. I think this fight is a complete mismatch, as Barzola should have his way with Avila for an easy victory. I think he should be a -1000 betting favorite here, so I think he holds a lot of value, even at his current heavily juiced asking price of -500. I don’t think Avila is even capable of landing a lucky punch to win this fight. He needs a lucky guillotine to win, and I doubt he gets one to completion.
