WSOF cancels two upcoming events and loads up New Years Eve card World Series of Fighting announced via Twitter that they are cancelling their upcoming WSOF 34 and WSOF 35 events. Instead, the promotion plans to load up their New Year’s Eve card at Madison Square Garden.

WSOF 34 was slated to take place in Loveland, Colorado on November 12th, when Jon Fitch versus Jake Shields was set to headline the card. Dana White says Georges St-Pierre will not compete at UFC 206 in Toronto Unfortunately for Canadian MMA fans, former UFC welterweight champion Georges St-Pierre will not be making a return to the Octagon at UFC 206 in Toronto this December. This according to UFC President Dana White who was on FS1’s “Jay and Dan” last week. “‘GSP’s’ not fighting in Toronto. I don’t think he does (fight again). There’s a certain mentality you have to have to be a fighter, and Georges St-Pierre hasn’t had that mentality for a long time. And sometimes that’s not a bad thing. Listen, the guy went out on top. How many athletes really go out on top? Go out the way you want to go out?
