UFC Fight Night 69’s Fights to Avoid Betting

Rock'n'Rollya Steve Kennedy Promo UFC Fight Night 69 Date: June 20, 2015 Arena: O2 World Arena City: Berlin, Germany The Ultimate Fighting Championship returns to Berlin, Germany this Saturday, June 20th for UFC Fight Night 79: Jędrzejczyk vs Penne. The event will feature 11 bouts in its entirety, with a four-fight main card kicking off at 3pm ET and seven-fight preliminary card getting going at 12pm ET. All of the action will be live on UFC Fight Pass, and if interested on making this parlay or any wagers on this fight card, all betting lines will be made available at Several Bookmakerss. My Fights to AVOID betting for UFC Fight Night 69 in Berlin are: Welterweight bout: Peter Sobotta (-280) vs Steve Kennedy (+240) Gabe’s Thoughts: I like Sobotta in this match-up and favor him to pick up the win, especially considering he has the veteran experience and is facing a promotional newcomer who is taking the fight on short notice and could experience Octagon jitters, as well as adrenaline dump/fatigue. I favor the Pole to get his hand raised in this contest, either by finish or on the judges’ scorecards, however I don’t see any value in him at his current betting price of -280 to make any sort of play on him. I can’t confidently throw him into a parlay, nor can I make a play against him by taking Kennedy at +240, as I don’t think there’s enough value there to justify a play, either. Come tomorrow, this is another scrap I think is best staying away from, as far as our wallets are concerned. Gabe’s Call: Sobotta by Unanimous Decision (29-28, 29-28, 29-28) Gabe’s Recommended Play: AVOID Lightweight bout: Magomed Mustafaev (-115) vs Piotr Hallmann (-105) Gabe’s Thoughts: I completely agree with the betting odds here, as I see this as being a very closely contested match-up in which anything could happen. I could see a finish coming on either end, but more than likely, I think this fight will hit the judges’ scorecards, where it could be anybody’s fight. I lean with Hallmann to pick up the win, but there’s no value on either party here to be making a play, so this ultimately has to be a fight to avoid at the sportsbooks tomorrow. Gabe’s Call: Hallmann by Unanimous Decision (29-28, 29-28, 29-28) Gabe’s Recommended Play: AVOID
