WSOF 19’s Luis Palomino: ‘I’ve handed plenty of undefeated fighters their first loss’

MMAOddsBreaker’s Frank Trigg speaks with World Series of Fighting lightweight Luis Palomino about his upcoming main event title fight this Saturday night (March 28, 2015) against Justin Gaethje at the Comerica Theater in Phoenix, Arizona.

The longtime veteran has plenty of experience to fall back out, and he definitely won’t be intimidated by the top prospect come fight time later tonight:

“I’ve fought plenty of undefeated fighters before and gave them their first loss. I think as the fight goes on, I’m just gonna grow on him. Having losses in the past, I’ve never been beat up. I’ve been neutralized before, but my wrestling game thanks to Ricardo [Lamas] at MMA Masters is getting a lot better. I’ve never been hurt, so I have no fear of what he has to offer. I feel like I’ve fought higher caliber fighters than [Justin Gaethje], I have more experience. I think all the pressure’s on him. He’s fighting in his hometown. He’s the one with the 0 in his record and he hasn’t faced somebody as aggressive as I am. He’s the one that always pushes the pace, he’s always kicking legs and stuff like that. He’s gonna see another side and look at himself but more experienced when he sees me.”
