Bellator 135’s LC Davis: ‘I plan on stuffing all of Hideo Tokoro’s shots and beating him up’

MMAOddsBreaker’s Frank Trigg speaks with Bellator 135 bantamweight LC Davis about his upcoming co-main event fight this Friday night (March 27, 2015) against Hideo Tokoro at the Winstar World Casino in Thackerville, Oklahoma.

The long-time WEC veteran knows he’ll be in the Bellator title mix with an impressive performance, and he doesn’t plan on allowing Tokoro to get comfortable with his ground game:

“It’s not a secret that my ground game off my back is probably my weakest point. I think most guys are probably going to want to take me down and put me on my back. [Hideo Tokoro]’s pretty well-rounded but he’s a submission guy mostly, so I’m guessing he’s going to want to take the fight to the ground and try to look for submissions and stuff like that… I’m not an easy guy to take down by any means but I have been taken down before. The only fights I’ve really lost are the fights I’ve been taken down in… I plan on stuffing all those shots and beating him up.”
