Titan FC 33’s Kurt Kinser: ‘I think Pat Healy might try to catch me coming in’

MMAOddsBreaker’s Frank Trigg speaks with Titan FC 33 lightweight Kurt Kinser about his upcoming title fight tonight (March 20, 2015) against Pat Healy at the Brookley Aeroplex in Mobile, Alabama.

The talented wrestler is undefeated in eight professional fights thus far, having finished all but one opponent in his career, and he thinks he’ll be able to implement his offensive style against the veteran Healy as well:

“As far as training, I was definitely trying to put more time into getting the full five rounds. Had to get the lungs and the pacing for that 25 minutes. A lot of it is mental and strategy. You don’t want to throw everything you got and wind yourself in the first minute and have 24 minutes to go still. It’s mostly about picking my spots and using my attacks when they’re available and not force anything. I think [Pat Healy] might try to catch me coming in. I don’t think he’ll make his gameplan solely based on that. I don’t know what he’s thinking, but he’s someone who likes to move forward and use that style.”
