UFC Fight Night 56’s Ian McCall: ‘John Lineker can’t throw a straight punch to save his life’

MMAOddsBreaker’s Frank Trigg speaks with UFC Fight Night 56 flyweight Ian McCall as he prepares for his upcoming main card bout against John Lineker this Saturday (November 8, 2014) at the Ginásio Municipal Tancredo Neves in Uberlandia, Brazil.

The former top-ranked flyweight is looking to get in the mix for a title shot and he feels he has his upcoming Brazilian opponent well scouted as he heads into this pivotal match-up:

“I don’t see much. [John Lineker] doesn’t throw straight punches. The guy couldn’t throw a straight punch to save his life. So that’s really the main thing I’m worried about. Yeah, he outwrestled Alp [Ozkilic] but that guy had a stupid gameplan. I think Greco translates better to bigger weight classes of MMA while freestyle is better for us. I’m not really worried about any other situation besides him hitting me. If you look at the last two guys I fought, they were both swinging for the fences and neither of them hit me very much.”
