LFA 40 Opening Betting Odds

LFA 40 takes place at The Bomb Factory in Dallas, Texas on Friday (May 25, 2018) at 9pm ET live on AXS TV. Featherweight champion Kevin Aguilar looks to unifty his title against interim champion Thanh Le in the main event.

Aguilar (13-1) captured the LFA featherweight title in Feb. 2017 after knocking out UFC veteran Damon Jackson at LFA 4. He followed that up with a unanimous decision victory over Justin Rader at LFA 18 in August, however a thumb injury has kept him sidlined since. The 29-year-old is currently riding a five-fight win streak. Le (8-1) has won eight-straight fights, including a TKO win over Bobby Moffett at LFA 31 where he captured the interim title. During his winning streak, Le has finished all of his opponents however he did lose via submission to Martin Svensson on TUF 22 in an exhibition bout. The 32-year-old has yet to see the judges scorecards in his career.

The co-main event pits UFC veteran Damon Jackson against Jeremy Spoon

Jackson (14-2-1) has won five of his last six fights including a 38-second submission victory over Chris Pecero at LFA 33 in February. The 29-year-old hasn't gone the distance in a fight since Oct. 2016. Spoon (21-3) hasn't lost a fight since Sept. 2014 and carries a five-fight win streak into his LFA debut. The 33-year-old is coming off a TKO win over Clay Wimer at OKC Charity Fight Night back in January.
