Opening Odds for UFC Futures Including Stephens vs Emmett and Namajunas vs JJ rematch

Several bouts have been announced or rumored in the past week, and it’s time to open some betting odds.

UFC on Fox 28 is scheduled to be headlined by a featherweight contest between Jeremy Stephens and Josh Emmett. Both men are coming off the biggest victories of their respective careers as Stephens won his first headlining fight against Doo Ho Choi just over one week ago while Emmett knocked out former title challenger Ricardo Lamas this past December. The bout is expected to take place February 24th in Orlando, Florida.

Also on tap, the light heavyweight fight featuring Ovince St. Preux vs Ilir Latifi has been rescheduled for UFC on Fox 28. The bout was originally booked for this weekend at UFC Fight Night 125, but a minor injury to Latifi forced him off the card and the bout was moved back four weeks.

Lastly, a women’s strawweight title rematch between champion Rose Namajunas and former champ Joanna Jedrzejczyk was recently made official for UFC 223 in Brooklyn, New York. The bout is expected to serve as the co-main event under the Khabib Nurmagomedov vs Tony Ferguson lightweight contest. Namajunas knocked out Jedrzejczyk in the first round at UFC 217 in a stunning upset to claim the title.
