MMA Odds and Ends for Friday: Alex Volkanovski vs. Jeremy Kennedy rebooked for UFC 221 in Perth

BJPenn.com’s Tom Taylor
was the first to report (later confirmed by MMA Today) that featherweights Alex Volkanovski and Jeremy Kennedy will clash at UFC 221 in Perth, Australia on Feb. 10.

Volkanovski (16-1) was scheduled to fight Kennedy at UFC Fight Night 121 before an injury scrapped that matchup. Instead the 29-year-old faced Shane Young on that card where he won by unanimous decision. The Australian fighter has gone 3-0 in the UFC. Kennedy (11-0) is coming off a unanimous decision win over Kyle Bochniak at UFC on FOX 25 in July. The 25-year-old Canadian has also gone 3-0 in the Octagon.
