UFC officials announced that bantamweight Frankie Saenz will face newcomer Merab Dvalishvili at UFC Fight Night 123 on Dec. 9 at Save Mart Center in Fresno, Calif.
Saenz (11-5) heads into this matchup on a three-fight skid and will be looking for his first win since September 2015. The 37-year-old has gone the distance in five of his last six fights. Dvalishvili (7-2) is coming off an impressive 15-second knockout victory over Victory FC bantamweight champion Raufeon Stots. The Serra-Longo standout heads into his debut on a six-fight win streak.
