Five Props that Cashed Big at UFC Fight Night 118

Five Props is a column featured on MMAOddsbreaker.com after every major MMA event that highlights the biggest underdog prop bets to cash out from that card. Here are five UFC Fight Night 118 prop bets that cashed big based on the closing odds at Several Bookmakers.

1) Jan Blachowicz by Submission (+1375)

Blachowicz snapped a three fight winning streak and returned to the win column in front of his fellow Polish fans by defeating South Dakota’s Devin Clark by standing rear naked choke submission in the second round of action. It was a solid way for the Pole to get the win and save his job. Congratulations are due to those who wagered on this Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu black belt to end this fight with a submission, as the prop paid out at a massive +1375, being the biggest to cash in on the night!

2) Aspen Ladd by T/KO (+450)

Ladd impressed in her promotional debut by defeating Lina Lansberg via second round TKO. She remains undefeated and aims to make a run at the division’s gold. Congratulations are due to those who backed her to win this fight by T/KO, as the prop paid out at a sweet +450!

3) Warlley Alves by Decision (+440)

Alves returned to the win column and saved his spot on the UFC’s middleweight roster by defeating short notice promotional newcomer Salim Touhahri via unanimous decision on the judges’ scorecards following three rounds of action. Both fighters had their moments, but it was the Brazilian who was largely getting the better of his Polish counterpart. Many expected a finish, so congratulations are in order to those who took Alves to win this fight on the scorecards, as the prop paid out at a cool +440!

4) Oskar Piechota by Decision (+350)

Piechota defeated Jonathan Wilson via unanimous decision on the judges’ scorecards in what was an impressive promotional debut for the Pole, and fight fans will be looking for his next outing inside the Octagon. Congrats to those who took him to win this fight by decision, as the prop paid out at a nice +350.

5) Marcin Held by Decision (+281)

Held snapped an unlucky three fight losing skid by defeating short notice promotional newcomer Nasrat Haqparast via unanimous decision following three rounds of action that saw both 155-pounders have their moments. It was Held’s superior grappling that proved to be the difference, as he outgrappled Haqparast for the majority of the second and third rounds to secure the victory on the cards. Congrats are due to those who took the Pole to win this fight on the cards, as the prop paid out at a solid +281.

A $100 parlay on these five props would have netted $570,979.
