UFC 215 Closing Odds and Betting Results

UFC Fight Night 215 took place Saturday, September 9, 2017 in Edmonton, Canada. The card was headlined by a women’s bantamweight title fight between champion Amanda Nunes and challenger Valentina Shevchenko

Rafael dos Anjos secured a takedown early in the first round and completely dominate Neil Magny to earn a first round submission victory. Dos Anjos closed -190 while Magny closed +165

Henry Cejudo put in the best performance of his career landing a clean right hand to drop Wilson Reis and finish him in the second round. Cejudo closed -400. Reis closed +325

Jeremy Stephens took advantage of an injured Gilbert Melendez to cruise to a decision win. Stephens closed -115 while Melendez closed -105 in this closely lined contest.

Alex White landed the better punches throughout the fight and was eventually able to put Mitch Clarke away in the second round. White closed -220 with the return on Clarke +180

Arjan Bhullan got the best of Luis Henrique in a close contest to win a unanimous decision on the judge’s scorecards. Bhullar closed -210 while Henrique closed +175

Underdogs that Won

In a tight title fight, Amanda Nunes secured a takedown in round five to win the final round and earn a decision over Valentina Shevchenko to retain her title. Nunes closed +125 with the return on Shevchenko -145

Ilir Latifi was able to get Tyson Pedro to the mat throughout the fight to tough out a decision win. Latifi closed +120 while Pedro closed -140

Ketlen Vieira was taken to the mat in round one, but controlled the bout in round two taking Sara McMann to the mat and earning a submission win in round two. Vieira closed +170 while McMann closed +200

Sarah Moras was taken to the mat early in this bout, but controlled the fight off her back and was able to secure an armbar submission over Ashlee Evans-Smith. Moras closed +260 with the return on Evans-Smith -320

Rick Glenn outworked Gavin Tucker to win a clear decision on the scorecards to give Tucker the first loss of his career. Glenn closed +310 while Tucker closed -370

Kajan Johnson stunned Adriano Martins, landing a punch behind the ear in the third round to secure a third round TKO. Johnson was a huge underdog at +450 while Martins closed a -600 favorite.
