Bellator signs 3-0 light heavyweight prospect Tyree Fortune

MMAJunkie reports that light heavyweight prospect Tyree Fortune has signed with the promotion, agreeing on a multi-fight contract. In addition, the promotion announced they have signed undefeated Canadian lightweight Mandel Nallo.

Fortune (3-0) is the fraternal twin brother of current Bellator heavyweight Tyrell Fortune. The 27-year-old made his professional debut last October and has won two of his three career fights by stoppage. Fortune was ranked No. 10 in the FloCombat North American light heavyweight prospect rankings and recently defeated Jose Rocha by first-round submission at CageSport 45 in April.

Nallo (5-0) hasn’t competed since April 2016, when he submitted Shawn Wallace in the first round at Elite 1 MMA: Meltdown. The Tristar standout has won all of his fights by stoppage and has only left the first-round once in his career. The Canadian was the third-ranked lightweight on the FloCombat North American lightweight prospect rankings.
