UFC Fight Night 110 Closing Odds and Betting Results

UFC Fight Night 110 took place Saturday (June 10, 2017) from Auckland, New Zealand The card was headlined by a UFC heavyweight contender bout between hometown fighter Mark Hunt and American Derrick Lewis. Closing odds are courtesy of Several Bookmakers.

Here’s a quick recap of each of those fights…

Favorites that Won

The first big left hand Derek Brunson was able to land was enough to end the fight as he knocked out Daniel Kelly in the opening round. Brunson closed as a -250 favorite with Kelly a +210 underdog.

Dan Hooker landed a vicious counter knee to send Ross Pearson spiraling to the canvas and earn a big win in front of his countrymen in New Zealand. Hooker closed as a -145 favorite while Pearson was a +125 dog in defeat.

Ion Cutelaba made quick work of Henrique da Silva. He dropped him inside the first minute and followed up with vicious ground-and-pound to get the win. Cutelaba closed as a -305 favorite with da Silva +275.

Alex Volkanovski dominated every facet of this fight in route to a unanimous-decision victory over Mizuto Hirota. Volkanovski closed as a -580 favorite with Hirota +440.

Vinc Pichel landed a beautiful counter punch that dropped Damien Brown in the middle of round one. Pichel poured it on after that to earn the finish in his first fight in nearly three years. Pichel closed as a slight -125 favorite with Brown +105. 

John Moraga got the best of the striking and the grappling to earn a clear decision over Ashkan Mokhtarian. Moraga closed as a -210 favorite while Mokhtarian was a +175 underdog.

Zak Ottow won the first two rounds and survived in the third to win a split decision over Kiichi Kunimoto. Ottow closed at -370 while Kunimoto was +310. 

JJ Aldrich outpointed Chan Mi Jeon to earn a unanimous-decision win. Aldrich closed as a -200 favorite while Jeon was +170.

Underdogs that Won

Mark Hunt got the better of the striking exchanges, forcing Derrick Lewis to succumb to strikes in the fourth round. Hunt closed as a +130 dog while Lewis was the -150 favorite.

Ben Nguyen earned the biggest win of his career when he submitted former flyweight title challenger Tim Elliott in the first round. Nguyen closed as a +160 underdog while Elliott was -170 in defeat while fighting on short notice. 

Luke Jumeau was able to stuff takedowns and get the best of the striking exchanges to earn a decision win over Dominique Steele. Jumeau closed as the biggest underdog winner of the night at +175 while Steele was a solid -210 favorite.
