Brian Kelleher signs with the UFC, faces Iuri Alcantara at UFC 212 in Rio de Janeiro
Former CFFC bantamweight champion Brian Kelleher has signed with the UFC and will face Iuri Alcantara at UFC 212 on June 3rd. Kelleher (16-7) heads into his promotional debut on a six-fight win streak, including a victory over former CES champion and current UFC bantamweight Andre Soukhamthath. The 30-year-old has won 13 of his 16 career fights by stoppage, including seven wins by submission.
Meanwhile, Alcantara (35-7) is coming off back-to-back submission wins over Brad Pickett and Luke Sanders. The 36-year-old has gone 9-4 during his UFC tenure. Here’s an updated look at the card……
