480 Eduardo Dantas vs. Darrion Caldwell bantamweight title fight headlines Bellator 177 Bellator officials announced Wednesday that bantamweight champion Eduardo Dantas will face off against Darrion Caldwell at Bellator 177 in Budapest, Hungry on April 14th. Dantas (19-4) heads into this matchup on a three-fight win streak, including a majority decision victory over Joe Warren at Bellator 166 back in December. The 28-year-old Dantas has only lost once in his last six fights and will be looking for his first stoppage victory since 2014. Caldwell (10-1) rebounded from the first loss of his career in his last fight, taking out Joe Taimanglo by unanimous decision in a rematch at Bellator 167. Michel Quinones pulled from next weekend’s UFC Fight Night Halifax card due to injury  As reported Tuesday, sources close to featherweight Michel Quinones (8-1) confirmed to MMAOddsBreaker.com that the ATT product has pulled out of next week’s UFC Fight Night Halifax card due to injury.

The UFC now needs to find a short notice replacement for Alex Volkanovski (14-1), who was slated to take on Quinones. UFC 208 Embedded, Episode 2
